I appreciated the pub atmosphere. the room had tea and coffee making facilities. fresh milk was provided in an insulated bottle. This kept it fresh. the staff was friendly and helpful .
i thought the room was a little warm at night, even though it's an old building.

necessary amenities excellent food competent staff superb location
The room had everything necessary, so i didn't lack anything . the provided food and drinks were excellent. the staff was great. They were competent and always available when needed. the location is superb for exploring the surrounding area.
the parking spaces available sometimes prove insufficient, especially when the hotel is fully booked, i had to search for street parking once.

poor structure staff inattentiveness
I was disappointed with my recent experience. the burger bun wasn't toasted enough. it disintegrated when i touched it. The structure was very poor. also, the staff weren't very attentive upon arrival. i had to seek someone out for check-in. This seemed inefficient.

great portions professional staff relaxed vibe faulty tap loose seat shabby room
The breakfast offered a wide array of choices and was very well cooked. portions were also generous. the staff were professional and helpful. They created a relaxed atmosphere. i found the overall experience to be wonderful.
The room i stayed in had some issues. the shower tap did not function properly. the toilet seat was also loose. These details impacted my experience.

great hotel in a nice location
quality tea helpful staff
I found good quality tea bags in my room. the rainfall walkin shower was also a plus. the staff were great, too. parking can be a challenge. It's best to arrive early. the hotel allows an easy walk to everywhere in town, convenient.
i stopped for lunch and ordered a ham cheese and pickle sandwich. it came as a toasted sandwich with a tomato slice. the ham and cheese were sparse, and the price was grossly overpriced at £12.
